- All fees reflect CWELCC reductions for 2025. Official receipts are provided.*
Notice of Withdrawal
Families are requested to provide one month’s notice prior to withdrawing a child from care.
The minimum requirement is two weeks (10 business days) written notice.
Written notice must be provided to both the Home Child Care RECE visitor and the Provider.
Parents must also notify the MHCC Accounting Office to prevent further fee processing after the notice period.
Payment Policy & Fee Adjustments
First Payment – Due on or before the first day of care, pro-rated to the exact number of billable days in the first period. Accepted methods: cheque, cash, or credit card.
Ongoing Payments – Monthly fees are based on contracted care days. Fees remain payable during illness, holidays, or vacations.
Additional Charges – Extended hours or extra care days beyond the contract will incur additional fees.
Fee Changes – Families will receive at least one month’s notice of any adjustments to the fee schedule.
Annual Receipts – Tax receipts for the previous year’s fees are issued annually by the end of February.
Compliance Checklist
All household members 18+ in Provider homes have valid Criminal Reference Checks.
Providers maintain current Standard First Aid & CPR certification.
All Providers have up-to-date health Record.
Provider homes pass MHCC’s comprehensive safety and environment assessment.
Providers are trained in MHCC policies and emergency procedures.
All homes follow MHCC’s Safety, nutrition, health, and daily program standards.
Parents receive Invoice for all child care payments.
Families are informed of their rights under CWELCC and MHCC policies.
